Überblick
The fulfilment of compliance requirements imposes heavy workloads on airport staff covering administra- tion and operations.
Forward-looking new compliance standards raise a particular challenge for process managers, in addition to having to ensure that existing standards are compliant.
A systematic approach is needed in order to ensure fulfilment of compliance requirements companywide.
eControl promotes acceptance of compliance requirements at in-house level, and optimises operative pro- cesses together with the option of delegating compliance responsibility to individual process managers.
The compliance cockpit, which is based on eControl standards, keeps the manager up-to-date with figures and graphics that supply key figures concerning the progress made with each of the respective compliance standards.
Advantages:
- Compliance status – with regard to progress – can be checked at the press of a button any time.
- The monitoring and maintenance of compliance status can be managed by the compliance managers
themselves.
- Facility for examination of information for each user, for each process and for each compliance category can be controlled individually by means of eControl authorisation standards
- Document management taking account of user-related compliance authorisations for the setting-up of the compliance archive/information pool specific to the process involved.
- Individual attributes for process-transcendent assessment of compliance status.
- Standardised eControl measure management for controlling and monitoring application solutions.
- Mapping of as many compliance standards are desired on process structure (EASA 2014, EASA 2016, ICAO 2012, ICAO 2014.....) – accelerated processing of a future compliance requirement – or of an up- dated one – thanks to the availability of historic compliance information.
- Integral evaluation is enabled thanks to the combination of individual compliance assessments with risk management data and the data for management of audits, investigations, inspections and incidents.
